We also have several horses that are owned
by Lyssie, Little Linda, Mackenzie and Ms Annette that are occasionally pulled into lesson duty. These guys are all show horses
and very good boys, so occasionally have to pull double duty!
Diego is a 13 year old pony that is such a cutie! He
will walk along very calmly for a beginner or will move out for a more advanced rider. While everyone (including Diego!) knows
that he belongs to Kenzie, he very often gets pulled into lesson duty.
Some students are lucky enough to
get to ride Duke, Ms Annette's horse. Duke has done it all. And while most students could not even begin to run barrels on
him, he is such a good boy that most anyone can ride him in the arena.
Chico is a gorgeous leopard Appoloosa gelding.
Because he has such a nice slow trot, he is a great western pleasure mount at local saddle clubs. He is a gentle boy and a
great trail horse, so he does make a good choice for a lesson horse.
Skip is a true babysitter. Literally anyone can ride
this guy and he will take care of them! This boy is 20 years old, but can still run a set of barrels for little
Linda with the best of them! But sometimes she is persuaded to share this guy with our lesson students.
