At Back 9 Farms we are committed to producing quality future competitors. The mare plays such an important role in the production of quality babies. Much thought goes into pairing each of our broodmares with the appropriate stud to produce the qualities that we are looking for. Each of our mares receives the best of care throughout her pregnancy and so far we have been rewarded with some great babies!

Cricket is a very pretty palomino mare.

May is an absolute sweetheart. She used to be LeeAnn's horse and is Western Pleasure trained, but went blind in one eye. She is very smart and willing, and we are hoping to produce smart babies that are respectful and loyal as well as fast!

2sunigoliath.jpg

Suni is a red roan quarter horse mare. She has been a 4H horse in her past, so we might out her back to work as a lesson horse after she has this baby!

Wilma is a sweet mare that has great bloodlines.

Kady.jpg

Kady is a 6 year old palomino quarter horse. With that beautiful color, she should produce some gorgeous babies!

2mindycurly.jpg

Mindy should prove to be an interesting addition. She is a beautiful 6 year old bay mare that has not been handled a lot during her life. But living at Back 9 is slowly changing that!

0greymare.jpg

Grey Mare - OK, so we are not always so original with the names!!- is bred to a KY incentive fund stud.

Nugget.jpg

Nugget is a golden palomino that just looks like she should be going after a cow!! We are curious to see what her first foal looks like this spring.

Molly.jpg

Molly is a very pretty bay mare. She is a breeding stock paint and had a gorgeous baby this year!!!
